Admission Open

The Ghana Armed Forces College of Nursing and Midwifery (GAFCONM) is now selling admission forms for its BSc Nursing and BSc Midwifery programmes for the 2026/2027 academic year. Two pathways are available:

• Regular: For fresh senior high school graduates.

• Top-Up: For diploma holders seeking a bachelor's degree.

Programme Options

Regular Programme – For recent SHS leavers. Graduates qualify for the NMC licensing exam.

Top-Up Programme – For working diploma holders (nursing/midwifery) to upgrade their qualification in a shorter time.

Admission Requirements

Regular (WASSCE Holders):

• Aggregate 14 or better (A1–C6)

• Core subjects: English, Mathematics, Integrated Science (all A1–C6)

• Three electives (A1–C6) from the following options: General Science, General Agricultural Science, General Arts, or Home Economics

Top-Up (Diploma Holders):

• At least 2 years post-diploma work experience

• Diploma in Registered General Nursing or Registered Midwifery

• Valid NMC PIN (Ghana)

• CGPA of 2.5 or better (or equivalent)

Supporting documents accepted: NMC Certificate, KNUST Diploma Certificate, or official Diploma Transcript. All documents will be verified.

Purchase Voucher (GHC 200)

• Visit any CBG Bank branch nationwide.

• Pay GHC 200 to obtain your voucher with a unique Serial Code.

• Keep your voucher safe – you will need it to apply and check admission status.

• Deadline: Friday, 26th June 2026 (no purchases after this date).

⚠️ No forms sold on campus or through agents. Do not pay any individual.

How to Apply

1. Go to https://apply.gafconm.edu.gh

2. Login using the Serial Code from your voucher.

3. Complete the online form.

4. Upload required documents (PDF format: certificates, transcripts, results, NMC PIN, etc.).

5. Review and submit.

Next steps: Shortlisted Regular applicants will sit for an interview. Top-Up applicants will undergo document verification and an interview.

• Deadline: 26th June 2026 – buy early to avoid last-minute issues.

• Ensure all certificates/results are ready before filling the form.
